Buy a Meal to feed the Hungry!
How This Works

How you can help feed the hungry!

This is a simple to use, simple way to give to the Utah Food Bank or other worthy causes. Many restaurants and cafes are happy to give you a two for one meal coupon, to invite you in. This is a way to have a two for one meal, but the other person is someone in need, and can’t buy a meal. The meal given is purchased by the restaurant owner for them.

Instructions: Patron: Please print off a coupon, and take it to your participating restaurant or cafe. If you are unsure if your favorite restaurant is participating, please print a sign for them to place in the front window, and an instruction sheet. You can be the force to get this going in your community. We need to get the word out!

Instructions: Restaurant Owner: Print the sign available on this site. You may with to print some patron coupons too, and have these available to those who have not brought in one. Please note, the meal you give will cost you less than the meal you would normally give away on a coupon. The Food Bank, and homeless shelters have an estimated meal price, for a small percentage of a retail meal. The patron may mark which agency they wish the donation should go to. After you collect several, please add up the total meals per agency, and mail the money, and the coupons to the addresses on the back of the coupon. Please do this weekly, or often, to be sure the agency can get the funds used. If you would like, please send us your information so we can post participating restaurants on our site at no charge, should we decide to do so.

Please notice! This site does not collect any money at all. This is just a tool to get meals to the hungry. We do not collect a percentage, nor any benefit. This is between the restaurant owner, the patron, and the agencies on the coupon. This ultimately goes to the hungry, worried individuals. The more you eat, the more they eat! The whole thing is very simple. There are instructions, printable coupons, and signs. We may list participating restaurants in the future if this catches on. It's up to a few good people to see the vision of this, how it can work and to get the word out! You need to tell friends about it, and get them going too. This is a way to help the needy. It is also up to some honest restaurant owners, to promote this and, based upon their success, to give back.
